Mark Beaumont is a British long-distance cyclist, broadcaster, author, and documentary maker. He has completed some truly inspiring and record-breaking adventure challenges during his career but is best know for setting a stunning record for cycling around the world, completing his 18,000-mile (29,000 km) route on 18 September 2017, having taken 78 days 14hrs to do so.
